Nicola Berg

Nicola Berg (* 1969) is a German economist . As a professor of business administration, she has held a chair at the University of Hamburg since 2008 .

Life

Nicola Berg obtained her doctorate in 2002 from the Technical University of Dortmund with a dissertation on the subject of Public Affairs Management: Results of an empirical study in multinational companies . In 2007, Berg achieved his habilitation on the subject of managing global teams , also at TU Dortmund University.

Since December 2008 Nicola Berg has been a full professor and holder of the chair for strategic management in the business administration department of the University of Hamburg .

Research priorities

Her research focuses and interests are international management , intercultural management , human resources and public affairs management.

She undertook various research trips , in particular to China , France , India , Russia and the United States of America (USA).

Berg has published several articles in journals, including the International Business Review , the Journal of Business Ethics , the Management International Review, and the Journal of East European Management Studies .
