Nicola Gravina

Nicola Gravina García (born December 6, 1935 in Rio de Janeiro ) is a former Brazilian football player on the position of a striker , who after his active career worked as a player agent for a long time .

career

Hardly any reliable information is available about Gravina's footballing stations in his home country Brazil. He is said to have played for São Paulo in 1960 and then came to Mexico , where he first played from 1961 to 1963 at Club Deportivo Oro , with which he won the Mexican football championship in the 1962/63 season . After a brief change to the UNAM Pumas , for which he appeared from 1963 to 1964, he returned to Club Deportivo Oro. After playing here until 1965, Gravina García first moved to Club Deportivo Tampico and then in 1966 to local rivals Orinegros de Ciudad Madero , to which he also belonged for only one year. When trying to keep the team from relegation, Gravina took over the role of player- coach, but could not bring about the turnaround. After another station at CD Irapuato (1967–1968), Gravina played briefly in 1968 for the Houston Stars with play in the North American Soccer League (NASL), the top division in North American football, and then moved back to Mexico, where he was again active for the Club Deportivo Oro from 1968 to 1969. No more is known about later career stations.
