Nicolas Laframboise (born April 10, 2000 ) is a Canadian snowboarder . He starts in the disciplines of slopestyle and big air .

Career

Laframboise started internationally for the first time at the Junior World Championships 2017 in Klínovec . There he finished 69th in Big Air and 44th in Slopestyle. He made his debut in the Snowboard World Cup in November 2017 in Milan , which he finished in 47th place in Big Air. In March 2018 he became the Canadian Junior Slopestyle Champion in Calgary . At the 2018 Junior World Championships in Cardrona , he came 20th in Big Air and 16th in Slopestyle. After finishing fourth in Big Air in Cardrona at the beginning of the 2019/20 season, he won his first World Cup victory in Big Air in Modena . In addition, he took second place in Atlanta and at the end of the season sixth place in the Freestyle World Cup and second place in the Big Air World Cup.
