Nicolaus Jacob Keusch

Nicolaus Jacob Keusch (born June 16, 1745 in Lübeck ; † October 7, 1817 there ) was a merchant and mayor of the Hanseatic city of Lübeck.

Keusch was the son of a brandy distiller and a Lübeck merchant. He was a member of the Lübeck Schonenfahrer . As the word leading older man he was elected to the City Council 1790th During the French period in Lübeck , he was briefly the municipal councilor of the city. In 1813 he was again councilor and, the year he died, mayor of Lübeck .
