Nicole Matická

Nicole Matická (born March 3, 1993 in Bratislava ) is a Slovak basketball player .

Career

The 1.90 m tall center woman , whose father Oto Matický was active  as a professional in Austria for a long time, played from 2011 to 2015 in the “Highlander” basketball team of the New Jersey Institute of Technology in the NCAA .

For the 2015/2016 season she switched to the German first division club New Basket Oberhausen . In 2015 she was on the list of the best players who can be drafted into the WNBA.

Nicole Matická has been under contract with the Krofdorf Knights (2nd Bundesliga, Group South) since the beginning of the 2017/2018 season. She suffered a cruciate ligament rupture in her first game of the season in the Krofdorf Knights (49:57 away win at the Rhein-Main Baskets) after a playing time of 1:06 minutes.
