Nicole Piroth

Nicole Piroth (* 1964 in Darmstadt ) is Professor of Religious Education at the University of Hanover .

Life

After studying Protestant religious education at the Protestant University of Applied Sciences in Darmstadt , Nicole Piroth worked as a community educator in Viernheim from 1989 to 1999 . At the same time, she completed an apprenticeship as a communications specialist. After completing her doctorate at the Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg , she became a lecturer at the Philipps-Universität Marburg and the Johannes Gutenberg-Universität Mainz, among others . Piroth has been professor for religious education, community education and church education at the University of Hanover since 2007. She has been the Dean of Studies since 2012.
