Niederblecher is a district in the Steinbüchel district of District III of the independent city of Leverkusen in North Rhine-Westphalia . The place is on the border between Leverkusen and Burscheid and at an altitude of about 190 meters above sea level. NN .

history

Niederblecher was first mentioned in a document together with the villages of Blechersiefen and Ropenstall in 1264.

During the Second World War , Leverkusen's first bomb deaths fell in the air raid on June 5, 1940 in Niederblecher.

Infrastructure

Berliner Straße leads past Niederblecher as the B 51 . In an easterly direction, the road leads directly to the Burscheid junction of the A 1, four kilometers away .

To the public transport low Blecher is three buses at stops Blechersiefen and Schnorrenberg connected, the day every hour to Schlebusch , Cologne and Remscheid run. In Leverkusen-Schlebusch, five kilometers away, there is a connection to the S-Bahn to Cologne and Düsseldorf.
