The Niederelbe-Zeitung is a daily newspaper based in Cuxhaven and Otterndorf . Together with the Cuxhavener Nachrichten , the Niederelbe-Zeitung appears in the Cuxhaven-Niederelbe Verlagsgesellschaft mbH & Co. KG. This is partly owned by the SPD , which holds its shares in the paper through its media holding DDVG . It appears daily in the area along the Elbe between Cuxhaven, Hemmoor , Lamstedt and Stade . The sold circulation is 7150 copies, a decrease of 28.5 percent since 1998. The Niederelbe-Zeitung is printed in the Nordsee printing center in Bremerhaven .

The Niederelbe-Zeitung emerged from the Otterndorfer Zeitung . Since 1954 this newspaper has appeared daily under the name Niederelbe-Zeitung . The daily newspaper has its own local editorial team, an advertising department, a sales department and a prepress department. The Niederelbe-Zeitung receives the supraregional part from the North Sea editorial group . The publishing company also publishes the Hadler Kurier advertising paper on a weekly basis and Helgoländer on a monthly basis - the monthly magazine for the island of Helgoland .
