Niedereulenbach is a district of the town of Rottenburg an der Laaber in the Lower Bavarian district of Landshut . Until 1974 it formed an independent municipality.

Niedereulenbach is located in the Hallertau on the Große Laber about four kilometers north of Rottenburg.
history
Niedereulenbach was first mentioned in a document in the 10th century, when "Isso de Alinpah" repeatedly witnessed donations from Count Eberhard to the Ebersberg monastery . The connections between the local aristocracy and the monasteries Ebersberg and Rohr , which had extensive possessions in Niedereulenbach, were retained in the period that followed. In various mentions of Alnpach , no distinction is made between Ober- and Niedereulenbach ( Alnpach inferius ).

The community of Niedereulenbach was founded by the Bavarian community edict in 1818. The community included Niedereulenbach, Oberaichgarten, Thalhof and Unteraichgarten. The community of Niedereulenbach belonged to the district office of Rottenburg ad Laaber and from 1939 to the district of Rottenburg an der Laaber . On January 1, 1974, the community of Niedereulenbach was largely incorporated into the town of Rottenburg ad Laaber at its own request, and the Thalhof part of the community came to Rohr in Lower Bavaria .
Attractions
- Filial church of St. Peter and Paul. Choir and tower substructure are late Gothic, the core of the nave is late Romanesque. Around 1720 the church was given a baroque style.
- Provincial stage in Niedereulenbach. It opened on June 5, 1993.
