The house Niedergasse 65 is a listed residential building in Stolberg (Harz) in the municipality of Südharz in Saxony-Anhalt .

It is located in the middle part of Niedergasse on its eastern side in the old town of Stolberg. Immediately to the north is the also listed building at Niedergasse 63 , to the south by Niedergasse 67 .

Architecture and history

The two-storey half - timbered house dates from the late 16th century. The framework is still in the late Gothic style and shows the simplification of the formal language typical of the end of the 16th century. There are strong dew sticks on the threshold as well as on the eaves of the building .

In the local monument register , the house has been listed as a monument since August 30, 2000 under registration number 094 30258 . The residential building is considered to be culturally, artistically, architecturally and urbanistically significant and remarkable in terms of style.
