Niels Andersen (born May 14, 1867 in Skibinge , † October 9, 1930 in Hyllinge ) was a Danish sports shooter .
successes
Niels Andersen took part in the Olympic Games in London in 1908 and in Stockholm in 1912 . In the three-position fight with the free rifle in 1908 he just missed a medal win with the team in fourth place, with the army rifle over six distances he was eighth with the team. Four years later he secured bronze in the team competition in a three-position fight with the free rifle together with Ole Olsen , Niels Larsen , Lars Jørgen Madsen , Laurits Larsen and Jens Hajslund , while he again took eighth place in the team competition with the army rifle.
In World Championships Andersen in 1914 won in Viborg the bronze medal in three positions with the free rifle in the team competition.
