Niels Böttcher

Niels Böttcher (born September 16, 1962 in Hamburg ; † August 1, 2020 ) was a German politician ( CDU ).

Life

Böttcher was married and had five children. He completed an apprenticeship as a retail salesman . From 1989 to 1991 he studied business administration at the University of Economics and Politics in Hamburg. Since 2002 he has been working as a freelance restaurateur .

politics

Böttcher joined the CDU in 1981. From October 2001 to March 2004 he was a member of the Eimsbüttel district assembly . He is the local chairman of the CDU Eimsbüttel. Böttcher became a member of the citizenship of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg in March 2004 . As a member of the state parliament , he was a member of the sports, environmental and urban development committees. In 2008 he no longer made it into the citizenry. However, he was elected to the Eimsbüttel district assembly and took over the "succession" of his father Wolfgang Böttcher as district assembly president.
