The Night Hawk Lake is a lake in Cochrane District in the northeast of the Canadian province of Ontario .
Night Hawk Lake is 15 miles east of the city of Timmins . The lake is in the area of the Canadian Shield at 272 m . Tributaries are Forks River , Night Hawk River , Porcupine River , Redstone River, and Whitefish River . The outflow to the north to neighboring Frederick House Lake is the Frederick House River , a left tributary of the Abitibi River . Night Hawk Lake is 25 km long and up to 9 km wide.
There are glass ey perch and pike in the lake .
