Between 2005 and 2007 he played for the SCL Tigers in the NLA, who missed the play-offs in these two game years before he decided to return to his home club, the Rapperswil-Jona Lakers. With the Lakers, Sirén reached the play-offs in the 2007/08 season , but was eliminated in the first round with 1: 4 against HC Servette Genève . A year later , the Lakers missed the play-offs and instead had to compete in the play-outs, in which they prevailed 4-2 against HC Ambrì-Piotta and thus avoided relegation.
