Nikita Dzhigurda ( Russian Никита Борисович Джигурда , Ukrainian Микита Борисович Джигурда / Mykyta Boryssowytsch Dschyhurda * 27. March 1961 in Kiev ) is a Ukrainian and Russian actor , singer , screenwriter , voice actor and director .

Life

Jigurda was a big fan of the singer Vladimir Vysotsky and sang his songs as a teenager. After finishing school, he studied at the Kiev Institute of Sport and was a member of the Ukrainian canoe team. He then went to a theater college prematurely and finished it in 1987. Afterwards Nikita worked in several theaters. He is the author and performer of his own songs and has released several albums. In addition, he was also an actor (including the main role in the series Раненые камни , German wounded stones ) and directed the 1993 film Супермен поневоле (German: Unwanted Superman ), in which he also played the main role and sang his own songs. Jigurda also works as a voice actor for films and video games.

During the Euromaidan Revolution in Ukraine, Jigurda initially appeared as a supporter of the pro-Western demonstrators, but distanced itself from the protests in early 2014. Shortly afterwards, he appeared at pro-Russian demonstrations in Donetsk , condemned what he believed to be Ukrainian nationalism and supported the concept of an all-Russian people and a supporter of the Donetsk People's Republic .

Nikita Dschigurda has lived in Moscow since 2008 with his wife Marina Anissina (Russian-French figure skater ) and their two children .
