Nikolai Dutow ( Russian: Николай Дутов , English. Transcription Nikolay Dutov; born December 19, 1938 in Tambov ) is a former Russian long-distance runner who started for the Soviet Union .
At the Olympic Games in Tokyo in 1964, he was seventh over 5000 m . He did not reach the finish line over 10,000 m .
In 1965 he won the European Athletics Cup in Stuttgart over 10,000 m .
In 1964 he became Soviet champion over 5000 m and 1969 over 10,000 m.
