Nicholas of Georgi

Nikolaus von Georgi (born March 30, 1940 in Stuttgart ) is a German painter .

After studying music in Budapest and Dortmund , he studied at the Werkkunstschule Dortmund from 1963 to 1966, and painting from 1966 to 1971 at the Düsseldorf Art Academy . From 1971 he taught at the Folkwang University . From 1979 to 2005 he was a professor in the field of communication design at the University of Essen . He became known through his "Raumbilder".

Nikolaus von Georgi is a member of the German Association of Artists . He lives in Düsseldorf.
