Off the north coast of Greenwich Island , it is 2.25 km west-northwest of Emeline Island , 1.3 km north to east of Stoker Island and 4 km east-southeast of Romeo Island . A 150 m wide strait separates it from Holmes Rock to the east-northeast . Its diameter is 180 m and it is split in a northeast-southwest orientation.
British scientists mapped it in 1968. The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in 2013 after the village of Nikudin in southwestern Bulgaria .
