Nils Altmieks

Nils Altmieks (* 1987 in Paderborn ) is a German right-wing extremist , co-founder and former Germany chairman of the Identitarian Movement .

Altmieks grew up in Altenbeken near Paderborn and attended the St. Xaver high school in Bad Driburg . He then studied civil engineering. In 2006 Altmieks took part in a camp run by the neo-Nazi youth organization Heimattreue Deutsche Jugend . In 2012 he was one of the founders of the Identitarian Movement in Germany and was elected its chairman. He was instrumental in building the structures of the Identitarian Movement and took an active part in several disruptive actions.

In 2017 Altmieks had his gun license revoked, the reason being his leading role in the Identitarian Movement, he sued unsuccessfully.

Altmieks lives in Leutenbach in the Forchheim district .
