Nils Gunnar Henriksson

Nils Gunnar Henriksson (born January 7, 1920 in Sundsvall , † March 10, 1999 in Lund ) was a Swedish doctor, university professor and author .

Life

Henriksson grew up in Sundsvall. As a young doctor at the Department of Oto-Rhino-Laryngology at Lund University , he researched eye movement, since electronic measurement of eye movement had just emerged at that time . With the results of his research he received his doctorate from Leonard Barend Willem Jongkees (1912-2002) and went to the laboratories of Cesar Fernandez at the University of Chicago .

Back in Lund, he continued his research and developed the "Electric Romberg Test ", which later became common in hospitals in Scandinavia .

Two generations of Scandinavian otolaryngologists saw him as a professor at Lund University.
