Nils Hallberg
Nils Bertil Hallberg (born September 18, 1921 in Stockholm ; † October 8, 2010 there ) was a Swedish actor .
Life
Hallberg made his debut in Andersson's Kalle at the age of 13 and appeared in other youth films in the following years . Since he embodied the hero's opponent, he was for many years committed to roles as murderers, thieves and other villains. Only through a series of films about the detective Hillman, in which director Arne Mattsson - Hallberg played in numerous of his films - cast him as his assistant, did he succeed in breaking this pattern. In the following years he showed critical performances until he ended his film career in 1974 after over 100 appearances. He then continued his career on stage.
