Nils Gustaf von Kantzow (born August 30, 1885 at Karlberg Castle in Solna , † February 7, 1967 in Mullsjö ) was a Swedish military and Olympic champion.

Nils von Kantzow was a son of the officer and gymnastics teacher at the Karlberg Military College Gustaf Ludvig von Kantzow (1849-1923) and his wife Emma Hilda Julia Sandin (1858-1940). He came from an old Pomeranian family. His great-great-grandfather Johann Albert Kantzow (1713–1805) moved from Stralsund to Stockholm in the middle of the 18th century .

Nils von Kantzow entered the military, received his first instruction in topography from his father, graduated from the military college in 1903 and became a volunteer in the military engineering services. In 1905 he became a sub-lieutenant and in 1908 a lieutenant.

In 1908 Nils von Kantzow took part in the Summer Olympic Games in London and won the gold medal in team gymnastics as a member of the Swedish delegation . In 1910 Kantzow married the officer's daughter Carin Fock , in 1912 their son Thomas († 1973) was born. In 1916 Kantzow was promoted to captain. In 1922 his wife divorced him to marry Hermann Göring . Nils von Kantzow continued to support his wife generously.

In 1926 Nils von Kantzow was made a Knight of the Order of the Sword .
