Nina Sandberg (born February 18, 1967 ) is a Norwegian politician of the social democratic party Arbeiderpartiet (Ap). She has been a member of the Storting since 2017 .

Life

Sandberg is from Tromsø and graduated in political science in 1994. She then worked as a researcher at the Nordisk institutt for studier av innovasjon, forskning og utdanning (NIFU). From 2011 to 2017 she was mayor of the municipality of Nesodden . Sandberg entered the Norwegian national parliament in Storting in the 2017 general election . There she represents the constituency of Akershus and is a member of the Education and Research Committee. In June 2020, she declared that she did not want to run again for a seat in parliament in the 2021 election .
