Ninety One (or 91 ) is a five-piece Q-pop band from Kazakhstan . The band, which also uses a lot of hip-hop elements, was founded by JUZ Entertainment in 2013. It consists of AZ, ALEM, ACE, ZAQ and BALA. The founder of the new musical genre Q-Pop ( English Qazaq-pop , Kazakh pop), which is derived from K-Pop. One of the group's producers is a member of the popular Kazakh group Orda - Yerbolat Bedelkhan.
history
2015: The debut with the Aiyptama
The group Ninety One was founded in 2014 as a result of the K-Top Idols project. ZAQ and AZ were the winners of the project, but ALEM and BALA came to the band through a casting. ACE joined this group after training at an SM Entertainment agency in South Korea . In the beginning the group was called The KTI-boys and W. After a year and a half of preparation, on September 1, 2015 , they changed the group's name to Ninety One. They released their first single called "Aiyptama". (Don't blame). On September 1, 2015, the music video for this song was released, which topped the musical chart of the Kazakh TV channel for 20 weeks. On December 1, 2015, the first mini-album "Aiyptama" was released.
2016: Kaitadan
June 2nd, 2016 the new music video for the song "Kaitadan" was released. (again). This music video topped the charts on the Kazakh television channel "Gakku TV". Now the band members are preparing their new full album. And they have recorded the song “Lady” from the repertoire of the ORDA group and want to make a music video for this song.

“The meaning of the name is that Ninety One means 91 in English, because in 1991 our Kazakhstan gained its independence. That means the music, the style and the work of Ninety One are completely independent. "

AZ
Asamat Baibolatuly Senkayev is the leader of the group and the rapper. He was born on September 28, 1993 in the city of Atyrau, Kazakhstan. Asamat has a sister and a younger brother. In 2004 he took an interest in rap and took part in a freestyle battle . He has been involved with underground rap since 2006 . He is the winner of the “K-Top Idols” project.
ALEM
Batyrchan Abaiuly Malikov , the singer of the group, was born on February 18, 1993 in the city of Uchkuduk, Uzbekistan. He has an older brother and a younger sister. Alem finished "Academy of Culture and Art" in Chelyabinsk , Russia . He was the finalist of the casting show “The Voice of Kazakhstan”, the semi-finalist of the X-factor project, the winner of international musical competitions that took place in cities such as Barcelona ( Spain ), Berlin ( Germany ) and some cities in Russia.
ACE
Asamat Kairatuly Aschmakyn was born on August 29, 1993 in the city of Almaty. Ace has a younger brother. He is the drama graduate of the "Kazakh National Academy of Art". From 2012 to 2015 he did an apprenticeship at the SM Entertainment agency in South Korea . He speaks Kazakh , Russian and Korean . He likes to read mystical and esoteric books.
ZAQ
Dulat Bolatuly Muchametkaliev was born on February 8, 1996 in the city of Semei. He has a younger brother and a younger sister. Dulat is the winner of the international Russian language Olympics.
BALA
Daniyar Akylbaiuly Kulumschin is the group's lead singer. He was born on February 19, 1998 in the city of Aktobe. Bala has a younger sister and a younger brother. He is the oldest child in his family and the youngest member of the group. He is an ex-member of the instrumental group "Brotherhood". Daniyar sings from childhood and is passionate about music. He began to be interested in soccer in 7th grade.
