Ninsun
Ninsun (also Ninsunna ; Herrin Wildkuh / Divine Wildkuh ; nickname Veiled Princess ) is a figure from Mesopotamian mythology and a character from the Gilgamesh epic . It is the only daughter of King Enmerkar .
She is the goddess of Uruk , wife of the deified king Lugalbanda and mother of Gilgameš . By looking into the future and interpreting dreams, Ninsun acted as a wise advisor. Urnammu , the founder of the third dynasty of Ur , traced his ancestry back to them.
