Nisha Kataria

Nisha Kataria (born May 9, 1986 in Ottawa , Canada ) is an American pop, rock and R&B musician.

Nisha Kataria is the daughter of Indian immigrants. Its name comes from the Indian Nisha and means "night". She has lived in Phoenix (Arizona) / USA since early childhood .

Career

Nisha started taking singing lessons at the age of three. She gained notoriety in the state of Arizona through appearances at sporting events and events of the Indian community in the USA.

In 2003, Nisha Kataria was discovered at the Arizona State Fair by Dieter Wiesner, Michael Jackson's manager , while singing spontaneously for her family on the way to the parking lot. Jackson invited her to sing for him at his Neverland ranch. Jackson was so fascinated by her voice that he invited her to audition in his recording studio.

Nisha began her career in 2005 when she recorded several pieces for the band Westlife together with producer Dieter Dierks . In 2006 Nisha was on tour in England for the first time with the Irish band Westlife . In 2007 she began working with Dieter Dierks on her debut single "Hero", which was released in October of the same year.
