Nitra (region)
The (tourism) region Nitra (Slovakian Nitriansky región (cestovného ruchu) ), unofficially also Dolná Nitra (literally "Lower Neutra") is a tourist region in Slovakia .
It extends along the southern course of the Nitra River over the districts:
- Nitra
- Levice (western parts except for the area around Šahy )
- Zlaté Moravce
- Nové Zámky (northwestern part with Nové Zámky )
The Horná Nitra region, also marked by the Nitra River, begins in the north .
