The Niue High School Oval is east of the Niuean capital Alofi located multi-purpose stadium . It is located on the Alofi to Liku road and connects directly to the Niue campus of the University of the South Pacific . The stadium has a capacity of around 1,000 seats and is mostly used for football matches. It is the home stadium of the Niuean national football team , which has not played an international match since 1983. The stadium is also the venue for the home games of the local football clubs Talava FC and Alofi FC , both of which play in the NIFA Championship .
