Nixson Anak Kennedy (born January 26, 1995 in Sarawak ) is a Malaysian athlete who specializes in sprinting .

Athletic career

Nixson Anak Kennedy gained his first international experience at the Southeast Asian Games in Singapore , where he was eliminated in the first round over 100 meters with 10.65 seconds. In 2017 he took part in the Asian Championships in Bhubaneswar , where he finished fifth with the Malaysian 4 x 100 meter relay in 39.98 s. In 2018 he took part in the Commonwealth Games in the Australian Gold Coast for the first time and finished seventh with the Malaysian relay. At the end of August he took part with the relay for the first time in the Asian Games in Jakarta and was disqualified there in the final. In the following year he won the silver medal behind Thailand at the Southeast Asian Games in Capas with the relay in 39.78 s and won the bronze medal behind the Philippines and Thailand with the mixed 4 x 100 meter relay in 42.40 s.
