Noah Bitsch (born September 29, 1989 in Siegburg ) is a German karateka . He starts in the Kumite discipline -84 kg. His greatest sporting successes to date include 2nd place at the World Games 2013 (-75 kg) and victory at the European Championship in 2012 as a team, as well as the vice-world championship title in 2014 with the team.

Career

Noah Bitsch passed his Abitur at the Arnoldischule in Gotha in 2008 and has been employed by the Bundeswehr Sports Promotion Group with the rank of sergeant since completing his basic training .

Noah Bitsch has lived and trained in Waltershausen / Thuringia since 1991 . Jana Bitsch , Noah's sister is also in the national karate team. Both train with their father, Klaus Bitsch, the current national youth coach .

Since 2001 he has been fighting in the national karate team for Germany both in the team and currently in the discipline Kumite individual-84 kg. Noah was able to celebrate great successes in the junior division, with three World Cup medals and one European Championship medal in the U-18 and U-21 age categories, he is the most successful DKV athlete. In 2012 he won his first individual medal at a senior European championship, 3rd place. On the same weekend, Noah became European champion with Team Germany. In 2012 Noah also won the WKF Premier League. In 2013 Noah took 3rd place at the European Championship with Team Germany in Budapest. Noah celebrated his greatest sporting success to date by winning 2nd place at the World Games 2013 in Cali / Colombia . In the same year he finished 3rd at the World Combat Games in Saint Petersburg . On November 9, 2014, he was runner-up with the German team in Bremen. In the individual he was 3rd in his weight class up to 75 kg. In March 2015 he became vice European champion in the individual competition in Istanbul. In 2016, Noah moved to the next higher weight class -84 kg and took 3rd place at the European Championships. At the 2016 World Championships in Linz / Austria, he took 3rd place with the German team. In addition to his active career, Noah Bitsch is a Thuringian state trainer for students. Furthermore, he gives many courses and seminars to pass on his experience.
