Noah Schnapp (born October 3, 2004 in New York City ) is a Canadian - American actor .

Life

In 2015, Schnapp made his acting debut in the feature film Bridge of Spies, directed by Steven Spielberg, alongside Tom Hanks . He also received a leading role as a speaker in 2015 as the voice of Charlie Brown in the animated film The Peanuts .

Schnapp achieved international fame as Will Byers in the US science fiction mystery series Stranger Things , which is broadcast on Netflix . He starred in all three seasons and was awarded a Screen Actors Guild Award for best ensemble in a drama series in 2017, along with his fellow actors on the series . For the role in the drama series, he received the 2018 MTV Movie Award in the scariest performance category . In 2016 he appeared in the music video for the song LA Devotee by Panic! at the disco with.

Schnapp lives in Scarsdale , New York .
