Noboru Karashima

Noboru Karashima ( Japanese 辛 島 昇 , Karashima Noboru ; born April 24, 1933 ; † November 26, 2015 in Tokyo ) was a Japanese orientalist with a focus on South Asia, writer and professor emeritus at the University of Tokyo , Japan .
