Nobuyuki Takahashi

Nobuyuki Takahashi ( Japanese 高橋 信 之 , Takahashi Nobuyuki ; born April 30, 1957 in Tokyo Prefecture ) is a Japanese film director and producer .

Life

Takahashi is active in the areas of publishing, advertising and developing products and visual media, and works as a producer and planner. His main topics include “Life in the Future”, “Science and Industry”, “Entertainment and Communication” and “International Communication”. The main theme of his own motifs is the “boy's dream”. Takahashi's areas of activity are animation , science fiction films , video games, toys and digital devices. He works with several magazines, editors, designers and directors. Takahashi founded the publishing and image design studio "Studio Hard Deluxe", of which he is president. He is also president of “Cyber-Dyne” and “Transmedia Corporation”. He is also active as a consultant in several image production companies, casting companies and other companies (such as " Gainax ", "Napalm Films" or "Crowd"). Takahashi is a member of the Executive Committee of the Tokyo International Anime Fair and head of the Japan Animation Creators Association. He also coined the term cosplay .
