Nokia OS

Nokia OS ( NOS ) is the informal name for the operating system of many Nokia - mobile phones . The term "Nokia OS" is sometimes used in the manufacturer's documents. It is a proprietary platform that is only used internally by Nokia and is not publicly documented. It is not licensed to third parties, nor are direct APIs provided. However, most NOS devices can be programmed with J2ME . The Nokia OS serves as the basis for mobile phones with the Nokia Series 40 , Series 30 and Series 20 platforms / user interfaces .
