Nonnosus Brand

Nonnosus Brand (also Nonnos Brand ) (born October 9, 1755 in Wasserburg a.Inn ; † May 27, 1793 in Tegernsee ) was a Bavarian composer, organist and music teacher.

Brand joined the Benedictine order in the Tegernsee Monastery early on . He spent most of his life as the head of the school in his monastery, giving literary and musical lessons there.

In his time he was considered an exceptionally good organ player and composed several German masses and songs.
