Noordin Mohammad Top

Noordin Mohammad Top (born August 11, 1968 - September 17, 2009 ) was a Malaysian Islamist. He was considered to be one of the masterminds behind the attacks on the Australian embassy in Jakarta in 2004, on Bali in 2005 and also in Bali in 2002. He was one of the most wanted terrorists.

In 2009 he was killed in a raid by an Indonesian special unit in Surakarta , Jawa Tengah .
