Noormarkku (Swedish Norrmark ) is a village in the Satakunta countryside in western Finland . Since its incorporation on January 1, 2010, it has been administratively part of the port city of Pori, around 20 km to the west .

Noormarkku is one of the earliest industrialized communities in Finland. Two sawmills were built here as early as the middle of the 18th century, and in the 19th century the place developed into one of the centers of the Finnish wood and paper industry. In 1870 the entrepreneur Antti Ahlström bought the Noormarkku forge and converted it into an industrial complex, from which today's large corporation Rautaruukki emerged . The site is of particular interest because of its outstanding industrial architecture from the 19th century, but especially for the Villa Mairea house built by Alvar Aalto in 1938–39 , one of the most important buildings in modern architecture in Finland.

From 1868 to 2009 Noormarkku was an independent community . In addition to the parish Noormarkku, it included Finpyy, Harjakangas, Kahaluoto, Kairila, Lassila, Rudanmaa and Söörmarkku.

The granite parish church of Noormarkku was built in 1931–33, the free-standing bell tower with an onion dome, which is atypical for Finland, is a relic of the previous building and dates from 1757.
