Nora Götz (born August 12, 1989 in Berlin ) is a German volleyball player .

Career

Götz began her sporting career at the Berlin Brandenburger Sportclub . From there, the sister of the beach volleyball player Tom Götz switched to the youth team VC Olympia Rhein-Neckar . The middle blocker was trained at the Helmholtz-Gymnasium in Heidelberg and reached fifth place at the European championships with the junior national team. From 2007 to 2012 she played with the Envacom Volleys Sinsheim , with whom she made it to the Bundesliga in 2009 . After Sinsheim's relegation to the second Bundesliga and filing for bankruptcy, Götz played in Switzerland for VC Kanti Schaffhausen in 2012/13 and was runner-up in Switzerland .
