The BBSC Berlin Brandenburger Sportclub e. V. was founded on May 2nd, 2005 in Schulzendorf near Berlin . The motivation was to maintain the game operations of the teams that were not clubbed due to the bankruptcy of the volleyball Bundesliga club VC 68 Eichwalde . In particular, successful youth work should be preserved. The focus here is on the female area. From 2012 to 2017 the first women's team played in the Third League North and in 2017 made it to the 2nd German Volleyball Bundesliga .

2005/06 season

In the first year, the first German championship was celebrated with the female B-youth team (April 29/30, 2006 in Kaiserslautern ). The senior women reached 3rd place at the German championships in age group II (June 2nd / 3rd, 2006 in Oldenburg). Further titles won in the 2005/06 season in the youth sector: Northeast German champion B-youth female, Berlin master B-youth female, 3rd place Berlin championship A-youth and C-youth female, as well as winning the C-youth cup female. The first women's team finished the season in 6th place in the Berlin district league, the second team came second in the Berlin district league and thus rose.
In the sports and multi-purpose hall in Schulzendorf, the BBSC hosted the Berlin B-Youth and E-Youth Women's Championships in 2006, as well as the North-East German B-Youth Women's Championships.

2006/07 season

In the 2006/07 season, three women's teams started in the adult sector, 11 girls teams in the youth sector and 2 teams in the senior sector. There was also a recreational team. In 2007 the BBSC was the host of the Berlin championships for women A and F youth.

Season 2016/17

The 2016/17 season closed the BBSC from runner-up in the third division. Since the VSV Havel Oranienburg as the first place waived promotion to the 2nd Bundesliga, the BBSC was able to take this place. Furthermore, the first women's team since this season plays with players from the previously canceled volleyball team of Köpenicker SC .

Season 2017/18

In the 2017/187 season the 1st team of the BBSC started in the 2nd Bundesliga North u. a. also with players of the former second division team of Köpenicker SC and finished 8th. The 2nd team of the BBSC entered the third division north and reached second place in the table.

Venue

Since the 2017/2018 season, the club has been using the ball sports hall at Friedenstr. 1 in Berlin-Köpenick. In the youth area, the hall of the Humboldt-Gymnasium in Eichwalde near Berlin remains the main venue (Stubenrauchstrasse 75). The sports and multi-purpose hall in Schulzendorf is also used (Walther-Rathenau-Str. 74). The leisure team is based in Halle Radenzer Straße 16 ( Baumschulenweg ).
