2nd German Volleyball Bundesliga 2020/21 (women)

The 2020/21 season of the 2nd women's volleyball division is the forty-fifth edition of this competition. It is scheduled to start on September 12, 2020 and end on April 24, 2021.

2nd Bundesliga North

Teams

This season the following 14 teams play in the women's 2nd Bundesliga North:

Since the 2019/20 season was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic , there is no defending champion and no relegated team. The RPB Berlin and SV Bad Laer withdrew to the third division. Newcomers from the third division are ETV Hamburg (North) as well as RC Sorpesee and SSF Fortuna Bonn (West). The VCO Berlin starts again with a special right to play.

From the 2013/14 season, a new point rule applies to the DVV's game operations: for a 3-0 or 3-1 win there are three points, for a 3-2 win two points, for a 2: 3- Loss one point and no point for a 1-3 or 3-0 defeat. In the event of a tie, the number of games won first decides, then the set quotient (division method) and finally the ball point quotient (division method).
