Norbert Eyck

Norbert Eyck (born April 11, 1953 in Berlin ) is a German CDU politician .

Life

After attending the polytechnic high school , Eyck completed his training as a cook in 1971. In this profession he worked in various cities, including in the Rotes Rathaus , the official seat of the Lord Mayor of East Berlin , and later he rose to become head chef. From 1987 to 1989 he ran his own restaurant as an innkeeper. He then worked as a representative of the Brau und Brunnen brewery . From 1996 Eyck switched to the sales department and worked, for example, as operations and sales manager and as managing director. He is currently employed by a project company and a real estate company.

Eyck joined the CDU in 1989. In 1995 he moved into the Marzahn District Assembly . From 1997 to 2009 he was the district chairman of MIT in Berlin-Wuthetal , after which he was appointed honorary chairman. In 1999 he was elected to the Berlin House of Representatives via the district list, to which he belonged for an electoral term until 2001. During this time he was chairman of the Committee on Labor, Vocational Training and Women. From 2001 to 2004 he was chairman of the CDU local club in Biesdorf , and from 2009 to 2011 he held this position in the local club Alt-Marzahn . From 2006 to 2011 Eyck was again a member of BVV, now in the Marzahn-Hellersdorf district , where he was initially deputy parliamentary group chairman and later deputy chairman. In addition, he held other positions in the CDU and MIT. Most recently it belonged to the local association Heiligensee and the district association Reinickendorf . Its membership ended in April 2019.
