Norbert Klora

Norbert Klora (* 1955 in Brüggen / Leine ) is a German artist .

Life

Klora completed an apprenticeship as a lithographer from 1972 to 1975 and studied communication design between 1977 and 1981 at the Hildesheim University of Applied Sciences, where she graduated as a designer. In 1986 he worked in the Lower Saxony pavilion at the Hanover Fair and at the Vitaliste Zomersalon in Brussels. The Schlehn Gallery in Empede has exhibited his works since 1989, together with Martin Disler , Hermann Nitsch , Jürgen Klauke and Siegfried Anzinger , among others . In cooperation with the Schlehn Gallery, the term “prefiguration” was introduced into art for his painting.

Klora's international career began with an open-air exhibition in Bellington / Australia, which was followed by numerous exhibitions at home and abroad. Since 1999 there have been close contacts with ARCI-Trentino, the major Italian art and culture association. This was followed by exhibitions in Trento, Brescia, Cremona, on Lake Garda and Lake Iseo. In 2001 he staged and curated the exhibition “Altarpieces in Contemporary Art” together with the Kunsthalle Faust in Hanover. In 2002 I was invited to the official supporting program of Documenta11 in Kassel. The term “prefiguration” coined by Klora in painting was the focus of an extensive project in 2002 with the Johannes Kepler University in Linz . Klora is the managing director of the atelier for reproduction technology and visual communication in Hanover.
