Norbert Koch (politician)

Norbert Koch (born May 1, 1944 ) is a German politician ( DSU ) and former member of the People's Chamber of the GDR .

biography

Norbert Koch passed his Abitur in 1962 and studied medicine from 1963 to 1968, qualifying as a dental technician.

In August 1968 he was arrested for political reasons and sentenced to prison. After his release from prison he worked as an assistant nurse, dental technician, specialist dental technician and master dental technician in Dresden. After the reunification in the GDR he was again the owner of a dental laboratory in Dresden.

Norbert Koch is married and has one child.

In 1989, during the reunification of the GDR, Norbert Koch joined the CSU Saxony (later DSU) and had been DSU state chairman in Saxony since February 1990. In the first free Volkskammer election in 1990 , he was elected to the Volkskammer in constituency 03 (Dresden).

In the state elections in Saxony in 2009 , Norbert Koch stood in the Dresden 5 constituency for the Free Voters of Saxony and achieved 1.7% of the vote.
