Norbert Möller

Norbert Möller (born May 1, 1959 in Waren (Müritz) ) is a German local politician ( SPD ). He is the mayor of Waren (Müritz).

Life

After finishing school, Norbert Möller studied teaching and became a teacher in Waren on August 1, 1979. After completing basic military service with the NVA , he was a teacher in Waren and Kargow until the fall of the Berlin Wall . From 1992 to 2013 he was the headmaster of a primary school .

After joining the SPD, Möller was city ​​representative , parliamentary group leader from 1993 to 2013 and city ​​president in Waren from 2009 to 2013 .

On September 22, 2013, he was elected as the successor to Günter Rhein in the office of mayor, which he has held since January 1, 2014.

Norbert Möller is married and has two grown daughters. He is deputy chairman of the District Sports Association Mecklenburg Lake District.
