Norbert Pysall (born January 4, 1950 ) was a soccer player in the GDR soccer game. From 1972 to 1975 he played in the Oberliga , the highest East German division, for 1. FC Magdeburg . With him he became GDR champion in 1974 and 1975.

At the age of 18, at the beginning of the football season 1968/69, Pysall was active in the men's teams of the BSG Lokomotive Stendal . First he was in the 2nd team that played in the third-class district league Magdeburg . In 1970 he moved up to the first team and played until 1972 mainly in the second-rate GDR league .

As a talented striker, Pysall was delegated to the regional focus club 1. FC Magdeburg in the summer of 1972. Here he had to prove his skills in a European Cup match on September 13, 1972 . In his first competitive game for the league team, he came on as a substitute in the 58th minute for right winger Hans-Jürgen Hermann in the encounter 1. FCM - TPS Turku (6-0) . In the league point games of the 1972/73 season he was there from the start, but initially only as a substitute. He was only in the starting line-up as a left winger on matchday 9, but this time he only played 66 minutes. On matchday 15 he played full 90 minutes for the first time and thanked him with two goals in the 3-0 win over Lok Leipzig. Overall, Pysall came in this season 17 times in the league and scored four goals. However, he was unable to convert this good start into further consistency. While he came in 1973/74 on four league missions, Pysall played only one league game in the following season. Through these five games, however, he got the benefit of being able to call himself two-time GDR football champions, as the FCM won the championship in both 1974 and 1975.

After only 22 appearances in the league, six national and two international cup games with a total of only five goals, Pysall left the Magdeburg club in 1976 and joined BSG Chemie Schönebeck , which played in the Magdeburg district league. With her he rose in 1977 for a year in the GDR league, Pysall spent the rest of his career back in the district league.
