Norchia
Norchia is an Etruscan necropolis in the Italian province of Viterbo . The Etruscans called the place Norcha . It may be the ancient Orclae . Settled since the Bronze Age, the settlement reached its peak between the fourth and second centuries BC. The tufa graves are mostly cube or half-cube shape.
Norchia is located in the area of the city of Viterbo , but can only be reached via Vetralla . From the Via Aurelia ( SS 1 bis ) between Vetralla and Monte Romano you can reach the necropolis via a signposted junction.
