The Norderstedt eG was a cooperative bank based in Norderstedt in Schleswig-Holstein . The business area included the city of Norderstedt and the neighboring communities.
history
On January 30, 1896, the Garstedt savings and loan fund was founded. With the merger of the four communities Glashütte, Friedrichsgabe, Harksheide and Garstedt to form the city of Norderstedt on January 1, 1970, the name was changed to Norderstedter Bank - Spar- und Kreditkasse Garstedt . Since January 1, 1990, the bank has been called Norderstedter Bank eG .
The bank merged with Volksbank Raiffeisenbank Itzehoe in 2018 .

Offices
In addition to the main office on Ochsenzoller Strasse, Norderstedter Bank eG had two branches, four self-service locations and the center for asset management. The Ochsenzoller Strasse office had been the main office of Norderstedter Bank eG since April 1, 1939. With the opening of the Herold Center in 1971, the second branch of Norderstedter Bank eG was created. Since the opening of the Moorbek Passage in 1983, the third branch of Norderstedter Bank eG existed until June 15, 2018. When it opened on June 18, 2018 in Rathausallee 13b, the "Norderstedt Mitte" branch was created.

The Ulzburger Straße branch was opened in 1963. The existing building was opened in October 2004 after a construction period of around 1.5 years. The current center for wealth management was created through a renovation in 2014 .
