European shooting festival
The European Shooting Festival is an international shooting festival of the European Community of Historical Shooters (EGS), an association of national shooting associations in Europe.
The European Shooting Festival is organized by the organizing municipality and by the EGS, whose members include shooting associations from the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Austria, France, Italy, Croatia, Liechtenstein, Poland, Sweden, Switzerland and the Czech Republic.

The festival, which usually takes place every three years, is held in a different city. The first European shooting festival took place in Aachen in 1975 . The 18th European Rifle Festival took place from August 28th to 30th, 2015 with over 80,000 guests in Peine ( Lower Saxony ) under the patronage of the President of the European Parliament Martin Schulz .
In 2021 the 20th European Shooting Festival will take place in the Belgian city of Deinze .
