Yugoslavia took part in the Nordic World Ski Championships in Cortina d'Ampezzo in 1927 with a delegation of at least four athletes.

The brothers Joško and Janko Janša from Mojstrana in the Upper Carniola took part in the endurance run over 50 km and finished in 19th and 27th place. Two other Yugoslav athletes had to give up early in the 50 km competition and do not appear in the results lists.
