Poland took part in the Nordic World Ski Championships in Cortina d'Ampezzo in 1927 with a delegation of 8 to 9 athletes, 7 of whom are currently known by name.

The best results and the only two top 10 places were achieved by Bronisław Czech and Andrzej Krzeptowski I with ranks 6 and 9 in Nordic combined .

Henryk Mückenbrunn was nominated by the Polish Ski Association for the Cortina ski jumping competition. After a broken leg while jumping in Chamonix , the season ended prematurely for him.
